Our Business

Our organization has served the community for 18 years.  We're located within the quiet wooded community of Lakeshore Village Condominiums.  We have very high staff retention resulting in continuity of care for our children thus fostering security with social and emotional well being.  Most of our teachers have been with our center  for many years.  Most of our families have, too!

Our dedication shows on our licensing inspection report filed with the State of Michigan, Macomb County Health Department, Fire Marshall and in the smiles on our children's faces.  Longevity  reports show that our students have continued to excell in elementary and middle school.  A number of our students graduated with honors from high school!

We believe in maintaining an unconditional positive regard toward all children.

 Who We Are

Executive Director:

Bachelor of Science Psychology,Guidance and Counseling from Rochester College, Early Childhood Education, Oakland University, Child Development Associate (CDA), 30 years experience,  member of National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC)

Program Director: Early Childhood Education Western Michigan Universtiy, University of South Carolina, Michigan State University Extension Services 4C's, High/Scope Curriculum and, 20 years of experience with children, member of NAEYC and Michigan Association for Education for Young Children (MIAEYC)

Preschool Teacher: B.S. in Education, with teaching certificate from  Wayne State University

All our staff meet state requirements for education and training. All of have American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and Blood Pathogen training. All staff have their training updated through 4Cs, Michigan Cooperative Extension Program.  FBI backround checks and child abuse/neglect investigations have been completed.
